Sustainable Products

The current unsustainable situation where manufactured products become rapidly obsolete and are tossed into landfill must be changed. We must design products to be non-toxic, long-lasting, repairable, updateable and recyclable.

We believe that regulated financial measures, such as advanced recycling fees and deposit/refund schemes, will drive the conservation of resources through innovative design and encourage end-of-life return for recycling.

For our recommended policy solutions to product wastes such as TVs, computers, mobile phones and tyres see documents listed below.
